Increasingly, it seems like the world is experiencing a chapter of the famous novel, Alice in Wonderland. In that, what is up; is down, what is down; is up. If trying to understand this brings confusion; you are not alone. This example is symbolic of how information is consistently being twisted and manipulated in this era. 
Like never before, one needs to question every piece of information that is presented to you. This is where we come to our topic- Distinguishing Facts. 
So, the question on the table is how do we distinguish information effectively? This post will walk you through that process by reviewing the following:

  • Opinion
  • Misinformation
  • Disinformation

Facts & Opinions Overview

In order to distinguish whether a piece of information is factual; you need to know the difference between facts and opinion.

  1. Why is it important to know the difference between facts and opinions?
  2.  State ONE primary difference between Facts and Opinion.
